Bike to Work Challenge 2026

Gsell is participating in the Bike to Work Challenge 2026, actively promoting employee health, sustainability and team spirit. During May and June, employees will get on their bikes and increasingly commute to work by bicycle.

The national Bike to Work campaign encourages companies and employees to commute by bike or foot. By taking part, Gsell is setting a strong example for sustainable mobility, workplace health promotion, and team cohesion. The friendly competition provides additional motivation: anyone who cycles to work on at least 50% of their working days and leaves the car at home has the chance to win attractive prizes with a total value of CHF 120,000. At Gsell, there is also an internal challenge with regional prizes, making participation even more appealing.

Promoting Health – More Energy in the Workday

One key aspect of Bike to Work 2026 is integrating physical activity into daily routines. Just 20 minutes of activity per day has been proven to deliver positive health benefits. Regular cycling not only improves physical fitness but also enhances overall well-being and mental performance. At the same time, it helps reduce the risk of illness.

Protecting the Environment – Putting Sustainable Mobility into Action

By participating in Bike to Work, Gsell contributes to more sustainable mobility and demonstrates a commitment to sustainable practices in everyday work life. Switching from cars to bicycles reduces CO₂ emissions and helps ease traffic congestion.

Strengthening Team Spirit – Achieving More Together

Participating together creates a shared experience that extends beyond the workplace. It fosters social connections within the company and strengthens the overall corporate culture, contributing to higher employee satisfaction and engagement.
